Most of us are now aware that Thanksgiving is a holiday rooted in the suffering and decimation of Native Americans. We cannot change history. We can, however, acknowledge history while also shifting what we are celebrating by giving thanks for the many blessings we have in our lives. This mixed-level community practice is for all beings and all bodies. Invite friends and family, invite your ancestors, welcome in anyone as this yoga practice will be focused on cultivating the joy of kula (community).
To make sure this class is accessible to all, regardless of income, the class will be offered on a donation basis. For those with sufficient resources, the suggested donation is $15. Others may contribute as their resources and gratitude allow.
Show up to the event, or register online at the Living Yoga Center.
